environmentally friendly cotton

WE USE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ORGANIC COTTON

All our organic cotton is GOTS certified, meaning it come from an ecologically-sustainable and socially-just supply chain. Organic cotton is grown without the use of petroleum-based chemical pesticides and fertilizers, allowing water and soil to stay clean and free of chemicals.

Compared to traditional cotton, producing organic cotton uses 91% less water and 62% less energy, with 46% less global warming potential.

Every time you wash a garment, thousands of microfibers are shed from the textiles and released into waterways, affecting our ecosystem. Unlike polyester, the microfibers in cotton are 95% more biodegradable and less harmful to the ecosystem.

recycled polyester plastics

A BETTER USE FOR PLASTICS: RECYCLED POLYESTER

Traditional polyester is made from crude oil, which is one of the most polluting substances in the world. The process of creating polyester is energy-intensive and requires large quantities of water and dyes, which are then released into the environment.

Our recycled polyester is made from plastic water bottles as the raw material, keeping waste out of landfills and our waterways. Compared to traditional polyester, producing recycled polyester uses 53% less energy with little waste.

For each ton of spun fiber produced, recycled polyester produces 45% less kg of emissions than traditional polyester.
